Combine hands-on backend engineering with architecture, technical scoping, and cross-functional execution. Currently lead the technical evolution of an existing two-tier CMS platform spanning 5 brand instances and 10 repositories, with a Redis cache tier serving ~40M requests per month. Currently leading the technical assessment and planning for its Strapi v4 -> v5 modernization, including migration strategy, dependency analysis, and evaluation of opportunities to improve cross-repository maintainability. Now extending this approach with AI-native engineering workflows to explore how agents can accelerate analysis, implementation, and verification while keeping high-risk technical decisions under deliberate human control. Seeking hands-on Technical Lead, Staff-track Backend/Platform, and AI-native engineering roles. WORK & WRITING Selected write-ups on CMS platform modernization and AI-assisted engineering workflows — in progress. Repo and articles landing here soon. EXPERIENCE Layerx Solutions Co., Ltd. — Taipei, Taiwan Technical Lead, CMS Platform | Oct 2023 – Present (Progression: Technical Project Manager -> Backend Engineer -> Technical Lead) - Own the technical evolution of a two-tier CMS platform (Strapi content layer + Redis cache API) across 10 repositories and 5 brand instances, serving ~40M cached requests per month. - Maintain and evolve the existing Redis cache tier using stale-while-revalidate, distributed-lock request coalescing, and CMS-triggered refresh. - Lead the technical assessment and planning for a Strapi v4 -> v5 modernization across 10 repositories. Completed an initial 3-5 day proof-of-concept to identify key upgrade constraints and inform migration strategy; implementation approach and detailed scope are still being validated. - Evaluating a proposed cms-shared package approach to reduce duplicated maintenance across 10 repositories. Reviewing code divergence and abstraction boundaries to determine which logic is genuinely safe and valuable to share before implementation. - Decomposed the migration into multiple workstreams with a clear set of architecture decisions and critical path. Proactively unblocked three infrastructure dependencies with long lead times (identity-provider config, private package feed, managed MySQL schema/TLS). Co-own Kubernetes deployment configuration with the infrastructure team. - Audited SSO/OIDC authentication flow across repositories and identified four issues: token exposure via URL, missing ID-token verification, missing state validation, and sensitive data in logs. Drove remediation into a common log-sanitization standard. - Evaluate where AI-assisted development can safely accelerate delivery and where higher-risk backend changes still require human review. - Lead day-to-day delivery across 2 project coordinators and 1 junior engineer (technical scoping, architecture, mentoring, and stakeholder coordination).
